<p>When I first started in <strong>Network Marketing</strong>, I asked my very successful Diamond Director (as she was leaving the country to go home and leave me<br />
to fend for myself): &#8220;What am I meant to do next?&#8221; Her simple reply. &#8220;Find someone exactly like you.&#8221;</p>
<p>After my initial shock at the simplicity of the response, I tried to get my head around what she was saying. Did she say find another me? Could I do that? How? I didn&#8217;t realize at the time but this one activity makes the difference between success and failure in <strong>Network Marketing.</strong></p>
<p>For <strong>internetwork marketing</strong> today, <strong>starting a blog</strong> is a great way to create your <strong>personal brand</strong>; to stand out 24/7, worldwide, no suits, no hotel meetings. The challenge is how to consistently stand out in a very crowded marketplace. To quote Seth &#8220;How are you going to explain yourself to your audience?&#8221; How are you going to attract the people you want in your business, the people exactly like you? How do you brand YOU?</p>
<p>Start by beginning your conversation. What do you want to say? What would you want to hear? Do your research and find others who resonate with you, and then develop your own style. If you really work on what you want to say, you will build a following of people who think like you do. Your Tribe. As you continue to express your thoughts and ideas, you will attract others to your conversation and you will get better. If you provide enough value, your tribe will become customers or business partners, or refer others to you who might be.</p>
<p>If you are serious about your <strong>network marketing business</strong>, <strong>create a blog</strong>.  <strong>Blog marketing</strong> is a great way to leverage you and build your online presence so you can find the people who are looking for you.</p>
<p>Stay with me and I will walk you through what I&#8217;ve learned. Hopefully you&#8217;ll share what works for you too.</p>

Once you&#8217;ve engaged your <strong>Home Business Leads</strong> in conversation, you need to establish a connection. This is not the place to read your list of questions or your script. If you are being &#8216;Interested&#8217; as opposed to being &#8216;Interesting&#8217;, your conversation should flow like you are talking with a new friend and trying to find out all about them because you really want to know. And the questions you want to be able to answer are:</p>
<p>Is this person right for my business?</p>
<p>Is my business right for them?</p>
<p>Are they right for me?</p>
<p>Can I help them achieve what they want?</p>
<p>Can they achieve what I want?</p>
<p>The risk in purchasing <strong>Home Business Leads</strong> is feeling the need to recruit everyone because you&#8217;ve paid money for their contact information. You must retain your focus when making your calls. If you are looking for business partners, you must be selective. Invite only leads who fit that criteria. By being selective, you are securing your future. This business isn&#8217;t for everyone, especially your business.</p>
<p><strong>How do you make a connection</strong>? Here are some questions that might help get the conversation going.</p>
<p>Why did you respond to our ad?<br />
What are you currently doing to make money?<br />
Do you enjoy what you do?<br />
What would you change if you could?<br />
Do you have a family?<br />
What do you love to do when you&#8217;re not working?<br />
Why are you looking for a business? Have you had your own business before? If yes, what was it?<br />
What income are you looking for over the next six months? Year? 5 Years?<br />
If I could show you a way to (do what you love) and make (income they desire), would you want to take a closer look at our business model?</p>
<p>Your only goal is to get the right people to look at the next step of your process, which should ONLY be an overview to Network Marketing/MLM. If possible, it&#8217;s better to not introduce conversation about your products, company or network marketing until they have seen the business model. It&#8217;s too early. Bite size pieces are the rule of the day. If you are pressured to answer questions about the business, be prepared with a 30 second summary of your opportunity and be as generic as possible AND be truthful!</p>
<p>To introduce the Network Marketing concept, I use the Brilliant Compensation web video. Then, if they&#8217;re excited about the concept, I invite them to a presentation. Once they understand the distribution model and the power of leverage, it&#8217;s ok to talk to them about your company and products.</p>

Since you want them to want to call you back, you MUST be prepared with a professional but human message to leave on their voice </p>
<p>Be clear and brief. Don&#8217;t sound like a telemarketer, debt collector or an &#8216;uhmer&#8217;; you know, uhm this and uhm that. Here&#8217;s an example of a professional message: <img src="http://turnonyourlight.com/blog/files/2009/07/Call_Me-150x150.jpg" alt="Call_Me" width="150" height="150" class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-127" />mail. </p>
<p><big><b>&#8220;Hello Mary. This is Nancy Smith. You went to my website and filled out some information &amp; I&#8217;m getting back to you. Sorry I missed <img src="../../../desktop/telephone2.jpg" width="116" height="116" border="0" alt="Leave A Great Message!">you. Please give me a call me on xxx-xxx-xxxx. I&#8217;ll repeat the number xxx-xxx-xxxx. Thanks Mary, and if the line is busy, please call back.&#8221;</b></big></p>
<p>Change the words to what&#8217;s comfortable for your style, but keep the general idea and length that we&#8217;ve covered here. </p>
<p>If someone else answers the phone and your lead is not available,  just say you&#8217;ll try reaching them again later. If you leave your contact information with someone else, don&#8217;t assume your lead will receive it, just as don&#8217;t assume they will receive your message.</p>
<p>Finally, place your <b>Home Business Lead</b> on your recall list and send an email telling them you&#8217;ve left a message. In the email, provide your contact information and a link to a website with any introductory information they can review before you speak. I highly recommend Tim Sales&#8217; Brilliant Compensation web movie. Please do not send them to your company website. That comes much later in the process. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><big>One of my very successful Network Marketing leaders</big> was lamenting her lack of success with home business leads. This leader is brilliant at network marketing prospecting, presenting and closing in person, but is a bit frustrated with prospecting over the phone. Her warm market approach just doesn&#8217;t work as well. She&#8217;s not alone in her frustration. This is common to all of us who work home business leads.</p>
<p><big><strong>Why does this happen?</strong></big></p>
<p>Prospecting over the phone requires different actions than working your warm market. You have the initial hurdle of not knowing each other. Things you can say to a friend may not be appropriate to an internet lead, at least not until you get to know them a little. Also, your very first hurdle is just getting them on the phone to talk with you. Unfortunately, telemarketing has created a real burden for the person phoning leads. You see, people have become so accustomed to being invaded by unwanted phone calls, you have to stand out as being someone who has been invited.</p>
<p><big><strong>You might say</strong></big> I purchased these leads from a reputable lead company. These individuals ASKED to be contacted. Why don&#8217;t they want to talk to me?</p>
<p>Most leads aren&#8217;t rejecting you. You may have phoned at an inconvenient time. Remember, this isn&#8217;t about you, it&#8217;s about them. People do have lives, even if they ask you to call them.  This gets further complicated by the fact that many of them have filled out forms on many websites and then become inundated with requested phone calls. And in some cases they have become the victim of unwanted calls because their information has been used inappropriately.</p>
<p><strong>So how DO you create your opportunity?</strong><img src="http://turnonyourlight.com/blog/files/2009/02/hello-150x150.jpg" alt="hello" width="150" height="150" class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-132" /></p>
<p><big><strong>1. Call new leads immediately.</strong></big> Phone as soon as you receive the contact information.(during normal business hours please!) Talk to the person while the idea is fresh in their mind.</p>
<p><strong><big>2. Before you pick up the phone, check your attitude.</big></strong> Are you truly interested in helping this person? If the  answer is no, either change your attitude or call another time when you are interested or get another vocation. <strong>Tim Sales</strong> offers some great advice: <strong>Be Interested, Not Interesting.</strong> Know what you want to achieve out of this call.</p>
<p><big><strong>3. Sound like someone who knows and cares about them.</strong></big> Say &#8220;Hello, Mary?&#8221; if you are calling Mary and a woman answers. Or &#8220;Hey, is Mary there?&#8221; if a man answers. Don&#8217;t say &#8221; Hello my name is Nancy Smith and I am calling for Mary Marvel about some information that she requested&#8230;&#8230;That sounds like a telemarketer or debt collector.</p>
<p><big><strong>4. When you begin your conversation be clear and brief.</strong></big> &#8221; Mary, my name is Nancy Smith. Did you fill out a form on my website?&#8221; If yes, &#8220;Have you found the business you&#8217;re looking for?&#8221;</p>
<p><big><strong>5. Ask if this is a good time for them to talk.</strong></big> If they say yes, proceed with your questions.  If the time is not good, be understanding.  They may be very interested and you just may have called at the wrong time. Remember, this is about them, not you. Ask for a time when they will be available. Give them your contact info and confirm their email address. Send an email with your contact info and date and time of your future call. And make sure you call when you say you will.</p>

When you&#8217;re a child, you&#8217;re told to make a list of all the things you want so Santa will know what to bring you. When you first get started in Network Marketing/MLM, you are told to make a list so Santa will know what to bring you.Â  Ooops, sorry, so you will know all the people to harass because you dream they are going to join your business.</p>
<p>Most of us have the same results with our Santa list and our Network Marketing list. The list is just a dream, a wish. And the problem is many Networkers believe in the list.</p>
<p>I believe in Santa Claus and I believe in Network Marketing. And I believe you make happen what you make happen.</p>
<p>When you start in Network Marketing, the most important thing you can do is have a marketing plan for how to deliver your products and services to the right people. The people who have a need, want or do not want that your products or services meet. Your marketing plan includes a strategy to find the people who are looking for you: the people your product or service can help. Your plan includes how to approach these potential customers and business partners and how many you need to find in order to make your business work.</p>
<p>You are the Chairman of a potential million dollar business. You want to be sure that your business partners are the best possible to insure your success. And you want to make sure that you can deliver quality to your customers. When you make your list, make sure you do with these goals in mind.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many people mistake money for happiness, so they pick <strong>Network Marketing</strong> because they believe it is easy money, and therefore easy happiness. If you are an experienced networker, you know that nothing can be further from the truth. If you are new to Network Marketing, you are mistaken.<strong> Network Marketing </strong>is not going to give you happiness any more than money will.</p>
<p>Network Marketing is a business like any other business. Making money in Network Marketing is based on performance, just as happiness in your life is based on performance. You have to work at both. You always get what you put in.<br />
How do you know when a person&#8217;s expectations of the business are unrealistic?<br />
The answer is you need to get to know them and you need to be clear with them about what is required to be successful and the results they can expect to achieve.</p>
<p>Sometimes it&#8217;s difficult to read what&#8217;s on their mind. Sometimes it&#8217;s hard to be totally honest because you don&#8217;t want to lose them.</p>
<p>So what do you do? First, you have to be honest with yourself and your expectations. Once you are, you can be honest with others.<br />
So what do you really want your Network Marketing business to do for you, and is that realistic? If not, get realistic first so you can be realistic with the people who are looking to you for a business solution. That is your responsibility as a Leader. When you do, you will notice that your results will reflect your actions.</p>

How you do or donâ€™t control whatâ€™s going on in your head has a big impact on your results . If I havenâ€™t made the point clear yet, your thinking is crucial to your success. In Network Marketing, if you think your product is too expensive, or it costs too much to start, or it takes too long to earn a check, or it takes too much time to build a team, or you arenâ€™t good enough or successful enough to get successful people to be part of your team, or you can&#8217;t do a presentation or build a website or post to a blogâ€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦â€¦&#8230; what do you think will happen?</p>
<p>You will attract someone who is thinking just like you.</p>
<p>The Law of Attraction gives you back exactly what you are giving out. You will find people who think the product is too expensive, costs too much to start, too hard to earn money, takes too much time, donâ€™t want to talk to people or build a website or post to a blog and certainly don&#8217;t see you as a person to help them succeed.</p>
<p>You donâ€™t realize how much you project your thoughts onto others.</p>
<p>The Law of Attraction works in Network Marketing just like it does in all other aspects of your life. If you want people who will be proactive business builders and customers who are committed, loyal and repeat, your thoughts have to be focused on them! <strong>Otherwise, how will they find you?</strong>

<p><strong>Learn to consciously control your thoughts. </strong></p>
<p>When you do you will start to attract the right kind of people. That&#8217;s the Law of Attraction in action. Dwell on what you want to have happen, not what didn&#8217;t go well in the past. Take action based on desire not fear. Consciously control how you think and your actions and results will naturally follow. When a person feels your power and the potential benefits of your business, they will be attracted to you. But they must feel that from you in your words and actions.</p>
<p><strong>Be a mind builder. </strong></p>
<p>Become a conscious positive thinker. Most people think unconsciously, and that&#8217;s ok if things are going the way you want. But if they aren&#8217;t going your way, you&#8217;ve got to take action to control your thoughts. Are you a positive force or a negative force? Interestingly, there are more negative thinkers in the world than positive ones. Don&#8217;t lose hope if you tend towards the negative. The positive thought force is much stronger than the negative one and you can change your thinking. A key step then is to catch yourself when you are being negative, and will yourself into being positive. One way to do that is to make a list of things that make you feel good and carry it with you. Then, if your thought force is negative, read your list and smile. You&#8217;ll feel better and get better results.</p>

So, how do you get the Law of Attraction working in your Network Marketing business?</p>
<p><strong>Learn to control your thinking.</strong><br />
Thoughts are a force. Choose your thoughts consciously and wisely, and you will attract the things you desire. In Network Marketing that translates into proactive business partners and loyal, repeat customers.<br />
What kind of thoughts are the right ones? Thoughts can be strong with great results, or weak with weak results. Of course you want to have strong thoughts that create the great results. Spend your time thinking about those people and you will attract them to you.</p>

<p>Turn on your light so people can find you because you shine in a dark, crowded, busyÂ  internet and network marketing world. Be different, not desperate. Turn On Your Light. Attract people to you.<br />
